Our A Level Maths Revision Course is for students looking to excel in their final year 13 exams. Our three day focused revision course covers Pure Maths, Mechanics, and Statistics.
Students often know which topics they struggle with — the harder part is working out why those topics keep costing marks.
A lot of the focus is on exam strategy — how to approach unfamiliar questions, where students usually hesitate, and how marks are actually picked up.
Who this course is for:
Students studying A Level Maths across all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR & MEI)
Students who want clear explanations, not shortcuts
Students who need structured revision, not random videos
Students who want to improve exam technique and confidence
- Students who feel they “know the content” but lose marks in exams

📘 What You Cover
Only subject experts are able to deliver our A Level Maths Revision Courses. They help students understand concepts quickly. The course is relevant for students from all examination boards: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and MEI. This means every student can join in and enjoy the session, no matter which board they are taking.
Below are some of the topics which may be covered.
Pure Maths
Including algebra, calculus, binomial expansion, sequences and exam-style proof.
To help every student get the most from their revision, we focus on what you tell us. This keeps the content centered on your specific issues. Focusing on topics that matter to you boosts your confidence. Your performance in A Level Maths will skyrocket!
Algebra, calculus, parametric equations, differentiation, and integration
Clear techniques for chain, product, quotient rules, substitution, and integration by parts
Tailored to each student’s specific problem areas.
Mechanics
Including forces, connected particles, moments, kinematics and modelling assumptions.
With our revision courses, we focus on the mechanics topics that you request. This allows us to address your concerns and to clear any misconceptions. This helps to utilise the time available, helping you to prepare for any exams.
Resolving forces, friction, projectiles, and motion problems.
Emphasis on linking mechanics to core pure maths skills.
Use of diagrams and structured working to clarify concepts.
Statistics
Including hypothesis testing, distributions, normal approximation and interpretation of results.
With statistics, it is always important to identify the topic. This is not easy given that questions can be wordy. Recognising the difference between Binomial Distribution and a Normal Approximation is a skill.
Probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and worded problems.
Recognising Binomial vs Normal approximations.
Step-by-step approach for calculations and exam-ready documentation
All content is personalised to the student’s needs, ensuring the most relevant topics are covered.

I found the sessions really helpful and focused on where I needed help, the tutors were always lovely and willing to explain anything I still didn’t understand! It really helped to build my confidence and made complex topics feel manageable.
Emily Prendergast

Undivided support on questions. Patience to repeat ideas constantly to a point of being able to understand. Really well explained and well broken down for better understanding. Quick recall on topics to remember topics is helpful. Completing the entire course has helped immensely as some has not been reviewed since first taught.

Comparison of A-Level Maths Exam Boards
In England, four exam boards offer A-Level Mathematics: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and MEI. Each exam board has a similar specification.
It is in the final exams where the biggest differences are.
While specifications differ slightly, exam technique and question interpretation remain consistent across boards.
AQA
AQA has set up three linear papers for the A Level Maths examination. Each of these three papers focuses on different, interconnected combinations of core content. Paper 1 (Pure Maths), Paper 2 (Pure Maths and Mechanics), and Paper 3 (Pure Maths and Statistics).
Paper Structure:
Paper 1: Pure Mathematics, including the topics of algebra, calculus, sequences, and series.
Paper 2: Pure Mathematics and Mechanics, including forces and motion.
Paper 3: Pure Mathematics and Statistics, which includes probability and hypothesis testing.
Three Linear Papers: All papers are sat at the end of the course.
Edexcel
The Edexcel syllabus for A Level Maths includes three weighted papers. Each paper lasts two hours. There are two Pure Maths papers and one Applied Maths paper.
Paper Structure: Papers 1 and 2 cover pure mathematics.
Paper 3: This paper focuses on applied mathematics. Questions are from Statistics and Mechanics.
Equal Weights: All three papers are equal in their contribution to the final grade for A Level.
The assessment is a variety of questions. Some need shorter answers, while others need longer, detailed answers.
OCR & MEI
There are two OCR A-Level Maths specifications: Specification A and Specification B (MEI).
OCR Maths Spec A (H240)
Paper 1: Pure Mathematics
Paper 2: Pure Mathematics and Statistics
Paper 3: Pure Mathematics and Mechanics
Structure: The applied content is kept in different sections in papers two and three.
OCR Maths Spec B (MEI)
Paper 1: Pure Mathematics and Mechanics
Paper 2: Pure Mathematics and Statistics
Paper 3: Pure Mathematics and Comprehension
Structure: The pure and applied maths content is interleaved for the first two papers. Paper three is pure maths and comprehension.
