The hardest uni course to get onto is the one that every student wants to be on. The course is so popular, and demand for places is so high, that it’s very difficult to get a place. But what courses are the most popular? This blog will reveal all.

Biomedical Science

This can be difficult to be accepted on to because of the level of demand. Many people want to work in this field, so it can be competitive when trying to get a place on one of these courses at university.

Engineering

Many universities have engineering degrees that are very sought after, and put many students off applying for them. This is why they tend to be quite hard to get onto.

Physics

There’s nothing like a physics course to really stifle your chances of getting onto it! Many people are put off applying for this degree because they don’t think they can cope with the rigorous entry requirements.

Computer Science

Again, another popular uni course that is difficult to get on to. Because so many students want these places, and universities only have a certain amount of places, it can be tough to get accepted onto one.

Law

This is another degree that students find very difficult to get on to . Law degrees are some of the most popular in this country, so there’s lots of competition for these places at university.

Pharmacy

This is another popular course that students find difficult to get onto. Pharmacy degrees are very well-regarded, and many people want places on these courses at university. It’s yet one more reason why pharmacy degrees tend to be quite hard to get onto.

Biomedical Science

This can be difficult to get accepted into because of the level of demand. Many people want to work in this field, so it is competitive when applying for places on these courses at university.

Neuroscience

Neuroscience degrees are a difficult course to get into because of the competition. These courses don’t have as many places, so there are lots of students applying for them.

Arts

This is another degree that doesn’t tend to offer very much in terms of career prospects when you leave university. It can be hard therefore to convince students to apply for these degrees.

Music

It’s no real surprise that many students don’t want to study music at university, as it is a challenging degree and not always very useful in terms of career prospects after you leave. Perhaps there should be more incentive schemes out there for those who do take up places on music courses?

Whatever degree course your looking to pursue, competition for places is always going to be high and so you are going to need the best grades. For this reason we have a number of revision courses that take place during half term and our Easter Revision Course for A Level & GCSE subjects is always popular.
