What is Spaced Repetition and How Does It Help?

S. Mahandru, Head of Maths at Exam.tips

Spaced repetition is a way of studying information at gradually increasing time intervals.

Instead of going over a topic once, go over it several times over a period of days or weeks.

Organise your work with flashcards, apps, or a revision planner, monitoring what you’ve revised. Prioritise areas which are tricky for you, but also look at easier topics.

‘Spaced repetition’ works best in maths, which requires practicing questions on a constant basis.
