When it comes to setting realistic study goals, don’t overcomplicate things. Honestly, I see students aim for “I’ll finish the whole textbook tonight,” and… well, that never ends well. It’s better to start small — one topic, one question type — and actually finish it. Feels better, right? That sense of completion matters more than you’d think.
In my lessons I often pause and say, “Hold on, what’s realistic here?” because huge goals look impressive on paper but collapse in practice. So maybe twenty minutes on algebra, a quick stretch, then another small session. Keep it flexible. You can always adjust as you go.
And remember — consistency beats intensity. Bit by bit, quietly, you build the habit. That’s when progress sneaks up on you… and suddenly maths doesn’t feel so impossible after all.
