In the UK, people are often wondering what is the hardest degree to get? The degrees we are going to discuss can take up to four years to complete and it’s not uncommon for students to have a break in their degree due to financial reasons. There are so many degrees out there and it can be difficult to choose one when they all seem so hard. But which one will actually be the toughest? In this blog, we will list the 5 hardest degrees.

Computer Science

A major requirement for computer science is a scientific and mathematically educated mind. However, the knowledge required extends beyond just mathematics and science skills as there are other key concepts such as computer programming languages that must be understood in order for one’s self-chosen career path or profession within this industry would make sense at all!

One of the main challenges with taking a Computer Science degree is getting on to the course. Medicine

Medicine can be extremely complex as it requires so much more than just science and mathematics. This might seem like a great accomplishment but it’s only the tip of the iceberg! The law is a profession that requires one to have the legal skills and knowledge required for everyday life as well as specialised knowledge in certain areas. In order to practice within this industry you will also need further education after graduating from your Bachelor’s degree – it can take up to 13 years of study before being able to qualify as a lawyer so if you’re thinking about going into law then be prepared for a long journey ahead!

Engineering & Architecture

Both engineering and architecture are known as STEM subjects which means they require strong understanding of mathematics and science concepts. There is no room for mistakes with either degrees meaning those who them will need patience above everything else! These degrees aren’t just about book knowledge but also require students to be physically strong and highly capable of understanding the environment around them.

Aerospace Engineering

Aerospace engineering is one of the most complicated degrees out there. It can take four years to complete but that’s just the start! The salary for this job role isn’t very high compared with other professions so it may not be suitable for everyone. If you’re thinking about doing aerospace engineering then make sure you are financially prepared because, after your initial degree, further education will follow which could cost up to £13k per year (including tuition fees and living costs)!
